The PATTERN project is a collaborative initiative aimed at revolutionising road infrastructure management through innovative technologies and strategic partnerships. With a focus on enhancing urban mobility, sustainability, and efficiency, PATTERN brings together a consortium of key stakeholders including research institutions, government agencies, and technical experts, to drive impactful change in the transportation sector.
At the core of the PATTERN project is the development of a Software as a Service solution hosted on the Cloud, designed to enhance road infrastructure management practices. By integrating advanced technologies and leveraging the expertise of our partners, PATTERN aims to optimise road infrastructure operations, improve traffic flow, and promote sustainable transportation practices.
Our project encompasses a series of key objectives, including designing and integrating the PATTERN service, conducting trials in different regional contexts, and engaging stakeholders through effective communication and dissemination strategies. Through these activities, we aim to not only validate the effectiveness of the PATTERN service but also prepare for its commercial exploitation and long-term sustainability.
With a strong emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence, the PATTERN project is poised to make a significant impact on road infrastructure management in Europe and beyond. By incorporating state-of-the art technologies, developing strategic partnerships, and executing a robust commercial strategy, we are paving the way for a more efficient, sustainable, and interconnected transportation network.
Join us on this exciting journey as we work towards transforming road infrastructure management and shaping the future of transportation. Stay tuned for updates, insights, and success stories from the PATTERN project as we strive to create smarter, more resilient road systems for the benefit of all.
PATTERN is funded under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme, under the Pathways to Synergies programme. The expected outcome of the call as mentioned on the EU Commission’s website is to create synergies between Horizon Europe and cohesion policy programmes such as ERDF, INTERREG, and RRF, which are crucial for improving R&I performance in widening countries and reducing Europe’s innovation divide, with the Draft COMMISSION NOTICE outlining new opportunities for operational synergies, while a pilot incentivises promising upstream and downstream synergy modes focusing on human resources and research valorisation.
