As the PATTERN project moves confidently into its final phase, we are pleased to share several important milestones that highlight the project’s progress within the transport and mobility ecosystem.
PATTERN at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026
PATTERN will be participating in Intertraffic Amsterdam on the 10-13 March 2026, one of the world’s leading trade events for smart mobility, infrastructure, traffic management and road safety.
Our presence at Intertraffic will be a key moment for the project, providing an international platform to showcase PATTERN’s results, engage with industry stakeholders, policymakers, and innovators, and discuss how our solutions contribute to smarter, more resilient, and future ready transport infrastructure.
Final PATTERN Event at Intertraffic
We are also pleased to announce that the PATTERN Final Event will be hosted during Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026. This event will bring together project partners, stakeholders, and the wider mobility community to:
- Present the final outcomes and key achievements of the PATTERN project,
- Demonstrate how PATTERN tools and methodologies can support decision-making and infrastructure planning
- Reflect on lessons learned and future opportunities for uptake and exploitation beyond the project’s lifetime.
Successful PATTERN Plenary Meeting
The consortium recently held its Plenary Meeting, bringing partners together to review progress, align on final deliverables, and plan the next steps.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to:
- Assess the status of technical and non-technical work packages
- Coordinate final validation, dissemination, and exploitation actions
- Ensure a robust approach as the project approaches completion
The constructive discussions and strong collaboration once again demonstrated the strength of the PATTERN partnership and its shared commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful results.
PATTERN Featured on the Charging Stack Podcast
As part of our ongoing dissemination efforts, PATTERN was recently featured on the Charging Stack podcast.
Manos Papoutsakis and Ivana Marsic represented the project in an engaging discussion which focused on the vision and objectives of the project, the role of digital twins in the sector, and how PATTERN contributes to smarter cities and more sustainable mobility solutions.
This podcast helped raise awareness of PATTERN beyond the research community, reaching industry stakeholders that are interested in infrastructure technology and innovation.

PATTERN continues to actively engage in cross-project collaboration and knowledge sharing. In view of this, Manos Papoutsakis of FORTH will represent PATTERN at the Joint Meeting of Downstream Pathway to Synergies projects, taking place on 21-22 January 2026 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Hosted by Tecnalia Serbia, the meeting will bring together Horizon Europe projects from Widening countries to explore synergies between innovation ecosystems, national Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3), and other EU funded projects.
Approaching the final stage of PATTERN
With the project now nearing its conclusion, the coming months will focus on:
- Finalising project outputs and deliverables
- Strengthening dissemination and exploitation activities
- Engaging stakeholders to support long-term uptake and sustainability of PATTERN results.
We would like to thank all project partners, stakeholder, and supporters for their continued collaboration and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
